Hunters Allowed To Kill 'Vulnerable' European Turtle Doves In Italy
Hunters in Italy now have access to shoot 'vulnerable' categorized European turtle doves in the country. The Italian Hunting Federation supported the move will give power to the country's 5,00,000 licensed hunters to execute the rare bird species. International Union for Conservation of Nature also confirmed that the species population has decreased by 78% since 1980. Earlier, France also made a similar ruling but was forced to take it down.
