Hyderabad Remain In Playoff Race After Comfortable Victory Over Bangalore
With a comfortable victory over Royal Challengers Bangalore, Sunrisers Hyderabad are back in the race for the playoffs. After winning the toss in 52nd match of IPL 2020, SRH opted to bowl first that surely favoured them. Despite losing their ace pacer Bhuvneshwar Kumar, David Warner and Co. found the right combination for their bowling line-up. The bowlers paved a clear way for the victory in the first half by restricting the Bangalore batsmen for mere 120 runs. With not much runs on the board, the Bangalore bowlers could not defend the game. Though Hyderabad's batting was shaky, with no scoreboard pressure, they easily chased down the target in 14.1 overs at loss of five wickets. SRH's Sandeep Sharma was selected 'man of the match' for his 4-over spell, wherein he took two wickets while sparing just 20 runs. Hyderabad currently stands at fourth in the points table. However, the remaining three playoff spots are still open for six teams.
