IMD Predicts Heavy Rainfall In Northwest Region, Issues Yellow Alert

Northwest states like Haryana, Punjab, Delhi and others are likely to receive heavy to very heavy rainfall in the next few days. The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has predicted enhanced rainfall activity till July 31. As per IMD, heavy rainfall with thunderstorms are likely in Rajasthan (July 27); Punjab, north Haryana and Chandigarh (July 27-31), and Uttar Pradesh (July 28-31). Moreover, the IMD also issued a yellow alert for states.
