Indigo Questioned By DGCA After Multiple Flight Delays
The Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA), India's aviation regulator, requested an explanation from the airline operations after multiple Indigo flights were delayed across the nation. The principal cause of the problem was attributed to a lack of crew members. On July 2, just 45% of IndiGo flights were able to depart within 15 minutes of the planned time, according to statistics from the Ministry of Civil Aviation.
