ISRO Plans To Nudge Space Start-ups Under SEED Programme
The Indian Space Research Organization has started a new mission to boost the growth of space-related start-ups. Under the initiative named ‘Space Entrepreneurship and Enterprise Development (SEED)’, three space technology incubation centres have been started by ISRO at NIT-Triuchirappalli, Jalandhar and Agartala while three others are in pipeline. Moreover, the ISRO’s early stage encouragement programme will allow startups and MSMEs to use its facilities and help create services or products needed by the space organisation.
