Madhya Pradesh Tops in Organic Farming, Followed by Rajasthan and MH: CSE Survey

Madhya Pradesh recorded over 27% of land under organic cultivation, followed by Rajasthan and Maharashtra. According to a report by Centre for Science and Environment, the three states account for around half of the total organic sown area. The study suggested that despite having highly ambitious targets states have improved marginally in organic acreage. Reportedly, Sikkim is the only state which practices organic farming at its fullest.
