Maharashtra CM Uddhav Thackeray Submits Resignation: Maharashtra Political Crisis
Shiv Sena President Uddhav Thackeray resigned as the Maharashtra CM, in the late evening of June 29. The development came after the Supreme Court bench reviewed a petition, challenging the ordered floor-test, and asked the Uddhav Thackeray-led government to prove the majority to continue with the Maha Vikas Aghadi Government. Meanwhile, Thackeray while submitting his resignation said not interested "in playing the numbers' game". With this, BJP has a chance.
