Maharashtra: Raju Shetti Slams Political Parties and Media for Ignoring Farmers
Citing the financial distress faced by diary farmers, Swabhimani Shetkari Sanghatana head Raju Shetti slammed Maharashtra's political parties. He also condemned media for "inordinate focus" on actor Sushant's case but ignoring the plight of the farmers. Shetti has demanded Maharashtra government a subsidy of Rs 5 per litre of milk, along with a fiscal package of Rs 250 crore, for farmers. Besides, he criticised Centre's decision to import milk powder.
