Mumbai College Introduces India's First-ever Hip-hop Course
For the first time in India, Hip-Hop lessons will be imparted at the varsity level. Mumbai University's Usha Pravin Gandhi College will begin its first batch in the 60-hour certificate course 'Introduction to Hip-Hop Studies'. The three-month-long program will render a fundamental introduction to the performing art form and associated themes. Additionally, the University plans to broaden the scope by introducing a diploma and a master's degree for succeeding batches.
