Mumbai Police Books Comedian Sunil Pal Over His Remarks Against Medicos

The Mumbai Police on May 7 booked stand-up comedian and actor Sunil Pal for his defamatory remarks against doctors. The complaint was raised by a medical professionals' association and Pal has been booked under IPC Section 500 (defamation). Meanwhile, the stand-up comedian has been asked to appear before the Suburban Andheri police on May 9 at 11 AM. The actor had later posted a video, apologising for his comments.
