PM Modi Launches Special ₹100 Coin To Honour Rajamata Vijaya Raje Scindia

Prime Minister Narendra Modi has launched a specially minted ₹100 coin to honour the Rajamata Vijaya Raje Scindia, on her birth centenary. Scindia was the Rajamata of Gwalior and one of the active members of Jana Sangh. She was also among the co-founders of Bharatiya Janata Party. Recalling her services to the society, PM Narendra Modi stated that her life was all about 'Jan Seva.' Stating her life as an example to serve people, the PM further added, "All that is needed is love for the nation and a democratic temperament." However, currently the BJP leaders Vasundhara Raje Scindia and Jyotiraditya Scindia are the descendants of Rajamata Vijaya Raje Scindia.
