Rajasthan: 50,000 Schools Suspend Online Classes Due to Reduction of Fee
Over 50,000 schools in Rajasthan went on strike and suspended online classes owing to the government's orders on the reduction of the fees. They demanded no cuts in tuition fee and an immediate reimbursement for admissions under the RTE as there are no cost-cuts to the employees. They further suggested collecting the fee from wealthy families and waive-off for the needy. However, state education minister has warned of action against the strike.
