Russian UFC Fighter Khamzat Chimaev Returns; Recovers From COVID Infection

Russian-born MMA sensation Khamzat Chimaev hinted to return from retirement through a social media post on March 24. Chimaev took to social media and wrote, "Surprise Surprise I'm coming to smash everybody". Reportedly, he had announced his retirement in the early March after his health severely deteriorated due to COVID-19. However, it's still unclear about the date but the team predicts for June. Since his 2020 debut, he took hat-trick victories in a span of three months.
