Saudi Arabia: Ramayana, Mahabharata To Become Part Of School Syllabus
The Saudi Arabian government led by Prince Mohammed bin Salman has decided to introduce Ramayana and Mahabharata in the school curriculum as a part of the country's reform program "Vision 2030". Besides, under "Vision 2030", yoga and Ayurveda are also being popularized and English has been made mandatory for students. Meanwhile, Padma Shri Awardee Nouf Almarwaai lauded Saudi's efforts to create a "coexistent, moderate & tolerant generation" through the reform.
