Specially-Abled Students Make Rakhis, Masks For Rakshabandhan & Onam: Kerala
Differently-abled children in the DARE school are making eco-friendly rakhis, festival-oriented masks, and tote bags for the occasion of Rakshabandhan and Onam. These products are made using green gram, dal, dry pumpkin seeds, and sunflower seeds. The motive behind this activity is to engage the students to understand the significance of the festivals. Besides, the products are available on the social media site of the NGO Srishti Trust’s social media page.
