Suicide Blast At Mosque Kills 17 People, Leaves 95 Injured In Pakistan
In Pakistan's Peshawar, a powerful suicide blast was reported at a mosque during afternoon prayers on January 30. The incident resulted in the killing of 17 people and wounding of approximately 95 others, mostly policemen, security and health officials, confirmed sources. The blast occurred near the Police Lines area around 1:40 PM, when a suicide attacker blew himself up during the Zuhr (afternoon) prayers. The police launched an investigation.
