TN: DMK leaders, Allies Fast In Support Of Farmers
The ongoing farmer law protests have gained the support from Tamil Nadu Opposition party Dravid Munnetra Kazhagam (DMK), as its leaders had undergone a one-day hunger strike on December 18 in Chennai. Condemning government's move to call the protesting farmers anti-national, DMK Chief MK Stalin said, "We stand in support of the farmers." Reportedly, the allies of DMK had also joined the protest, which was held without police's permission.
