Truck Loses Control, Crushes 15 Migrant Labourers To Death In Surat

In a tragic incident, 15 Rajasthan-based migrant labourers sleeping by the roadside lost their lives after a truck ran over them in the early hours of January 19 in Gujarat's Surat district. While 12 of them died on the spot, three other succumbed to their injuries at hospital. With a condolence message, PM Narendra Modi's office has announced compensation for the deceased's kin and injured. Reportedly, five other labourers are also critically injured.
