China President Xi Jinping Celebrates 100 Years Of Communist Governance
Celebrating 100 years of China's ruling Communist Party, President Xi Jinping addressed a mass gathering on July 1. Jinping said that "whoever attempts to bully China will be left with broken heads and bloodshed in front of the iron Great Wall of 1.4 billion Chinese people." In his speech, Jinping spoke about China's role in bringing global prominence in Hong Kong and Taiwan under its control.

AMU To Bury Time Capsule On R-Day To Mark Centenary Celebrations
The Aligarh Muslim University will bury a time capsule on January 26 to mark its centenary. Weighing over 1.5 tonnes, the steel capsule will possess the 100-year history of the University from 1920. Reportedly, the capsule would be buried 30 feet deep in front of the Victoria gate. Interestingly, the varsity had buried a similar time capsule in 1877 when it was known as Muslim Anglo Oriental College.
