Embassy of Pakistan has fallen victim to social media hackers yet another time, in Algeria. Facebook, Instagram and Twitter accounts were reportedly hacked. Foreign Ministry's spokesperson Asim Iftikhar Ahmad took to Twitter and alerted the people. "All the messages being posted are not from Pakistan Embassy in Alegria," his Tweet read. Earlier in December 2021, Instagram account of Pakistan Embassy in Argentina was hacked. 

Algerian Airspace has reportedly been blocked by the Algerian government for all Moroccan flights due to rising tensions between the two. The Algerian Presidency called it a civilised way of avoiding more casualties and confirmed the ban on September 22. He cited "continued provocations and hostile practices by Morocco" as the reason. Morocco has not yet commented. Flights to be diverted via Tunis for Algerian to Morocco. 

Wildfires in Algeria claimed 25 Algerian soldiers' life who were involved in the attempt to douse the fire on August 10, said the Algerian Defence Ministry. Meanwhile, Interior Minister Kamel Beldjoud demanded an investigation saying the fire is a ''criminal act''. French NGO Association for Control of Radioactivity in the West (ACRO) has apprised that northerly winds from the Sahara desert have brought deadly radioactive dust to France. The NGO said the toxic dust emanated from 'caesium-137', French nuclear tests conducted in Algeria in the 1960s.
