Algerian Airspace has reportedly been blocked by the Algerian government for all Moroccan flights due to rising tensions between the two. The Algerian Presidency called it a civilised way of avoiding more casualties and confirmed the ban on September 22. He cited "continued provocations and hostile practices by Morocco" as the reason.
