BJP leader Bhupendra Chaudhary has been appointed as the new chief of the BJP in Uttar Pradesh, on August 25. The decision to name Bhupendra came after the BJP top brass called on State CM Yogi Adityanath and Chaudhary to Delhi to discuss the matter, on August 24. Chaudhary will replace Swatantar Dev Singh, who has been made the minister in the Yogi Adityanath-led government.

BJP president JP Nadda made some key appointments for the State BJP units, on July 21. The appointments made by Nadda are of the RSS' Rajesh GV as general secretary (organisation) in Karnataka, Ajay Jamwal, as the General Secretary of Madhya Pradesh and Chhattisgarh BJP units and Satish Dhond, the general secretary in-charge of Goa, is now the joint general secretary (organisation) in West Bengal.

The BJP appointed Phunchok Stanzis as BJP President of Ladakh unit, on January 9. National BJP President JP Nadda, took the decision regarding the appointment. "BJP National President Hon'ble Shri Jagat Prakash Nadda appointed Shri Phunchok Stanzis as State President of Ladakh BJP. This appointment comes into immediate effect," said Arun Singh, the National General Secretary of the BJP, in an issued letter.
Ahead of the Uttar Pradesh assembly election, the National President of BJP, JP Nadda is set to visit Kanpur next week to kick off the party's poll campaign for 52 seats in the Kanpur-Bundelkhand region. Mr. Nadda will reportedly address 22,143 booth presidents of all 52 seats on November 23. He is also expected to inaugurate the party's new regional office in Kanpur's Naubasta Old Maurang Mandi.
