Mumbai Airport Receives Mail Warning About Bomb On IndiGo Plans; Security Tightened
The Mumbai International Airport received an email warning about a bomb on an IndiGo airplane, informed officials on October 2. Following the bomb scare, security has been tightened at the airport. The information has been termed a “hoax”. The flight which was mentioned in the mail, was delayed and checked thoroughly. After dismissing the claims, the flight continued to take off and land at Ahmedabad without any hassle.

Bangalore International Airport Receives Fake Bomb Threat
Bangalore's Kempegowda International Airport recieved a bomb threat via letter, which was found in the lavatory of a flight. However, after thorough search, it was concluded that the search was nothing but a hoax. The letter warned that a bomb had been planted, and left all the officials in panic mode. The letter read, "Don't land. There is a bomb on this plane".

Ranchi's Birsa Munda Airport Receives 'Fake' Bomb Threat: Jharkhand
The Birsa Munda Airport in Jharkhand's Ranchi received a bomb threat from an unknown person on July 28. The security officials upon receiving the threat, conducted a thorough search, and found nothing suspicious. The airport then declared the threat, a "hoax". Notably, Birsa Munda Airport has been ranked high in the Customer Satisfaction Index (CSI) survey.

Maha: Farmer Plans Bomb Scare At Govt Secretariat To Get Compensation
The Mumbai Police on May 30 arrested Nagpur-based farmer Sagar Mandhre for making a threat call claiming of planting a bomb at the Maharashtra government secretariat. Upon interrogation, the farmer confessed to have planned the hoax to draw the administration's attention for compensation of the acquired land. Delhi: Security Scare Near National Media Centre
Central Industrial Security Forces (CISF) found a suspicious toy-like object wrapped in polythene on April 5. A dog squad and bomb diffusion squad was rushed to the site. The bomb diffusion squad ruled out the possibility of it being an explosive and the surrounding areas were searched thoroughly. The location was deemed safe after the search as the area is close to Rashtrapati Bhavan.

Another Bomb Scare In Noida; Cops Clarify Item Found Not An Explosive
Just a day after a bomb hoax call panicked a Noida-based hospital, a yet another bomb scare surfaced in Noida’s sector 63 on January 22 morning. Reportedly, the police received a call of suspicious packet on the road lying in un-owned condition outside a hospital.
