Heath Streak, a legend player and former Zimbabwe Cricket team captain and a celebrated all-rounder, passed away at the age of 49. Streak was battling cancer, according to reports that emerged earlier this year. The former Zimbabwean cricketer remains the highest-wicket-taking bowler in Tests for this nation and was counted among the leading all-rounders during his peak years in the late 1990s and early 2000s.

In Mumbai, a Muslim man brought home a goat for the sacrifice ritual amid Eid-Al-Adha celebrations. However, the neighbours of the man identified as Mohsin Sheikh started reciting 'Hanuman Chalisa" as a symbol to protest the same, in the residency region of Mira Bhayander, Mumbai. The residents claimed the society has a rule that no livestock would be allowed on the premises, and demanded to take away the sheep.

In a shocking incident in Delhi, two women were shot dead in Delhi's RK Puram area on the intervening night of June 17-18,confirmed reports. The shooting incident was caught on camera and the chilling video was shared on social media. The incident took place in RK Puram's Ambedkar Basti. The murder was said to be due to money related dispute. A case is registered for investigation.
