Chandigarh Municipal Election: AAP & BJP Wins Majority Seats
In Chandigarh Municipal Election, AAP won four seats, BJP secured three seats and Congress managed to win two seats. As per counting of votes on December 26, of the 35 municipal seats, the AAP and BJP are having a tough fight, whereas Congress and Shiromani Akali Dal are lagging behind with only 2 and 1 seats, respectively. The final results are awaited as counting of votes are underway.
