Night Curfew Extended In 27 Cities Of Gujarat; 12,131 COVID Cases In 24 Hours
The Gujarat government has extended the night curfew imposed in 27 cities of the state, till February 4. The Curfew will be imposed from 10 pm to 6 am. As per reports, the decision was taken by CM Bhupendra Patel during the core committee meeting in Gandhinagar, to curb the Covid-19 infections. Meanwhile, the state recorded 12,131 new COVID infections and 30 deaths, in the last 24 hours.

BJP Announces MLA Bhupendra Patel As New CM Of Gujarat
In the latest development of Gujarat Politics, BJP MLA Bhupendra Patel has been announced as the new Chief Minister of Gujarat on September 12. Reportedly, Patel was chosen in the presence of central observers Narendra Singh Tomer, Prahlad Joshi, and party general secretary Tarun Chaug following a day after Vijay Rupani resigned from the post. Patel is said to be close to former CM Anandiben Patel.
