Binoy Visman Embraces Centre For Conducting Meeting On Afghanistan Crisis
All-party meeting will be held on August 26 to discuss the Afghanistan crisis after being captured by the Taliban. In regards to this, Communist Party of India MP, Binoy Viswam embraced the centre for the initiative to conduct the meeting. He stated that the developments in Afghanistan are important for India. “The meeting is important for the internal and external affairs of the country,” he added.

SC Dismisses Plea To Cancel Vandalism Cases Against Kerala's MLAs
The SC dismissed the plea filed by the Kerala government to withdraw criminal cases against several communist party MLAs for allegedly vandalizing the 2015 State Assembly. "Committing destruction of property in the assembly cannot be equated to freedom of speech in the house", the court clarified. It ruled that "immunity granted to lawmakers is not a power status and therefore cannot cover their acts".

After expressing a desire to join the Communist Party of China (CPC) at a Symposium, Popular actor Jackie Chan faces backlash from netizens across social media. “I want to be a Communist Party member, thank you," said Jackie Chan. However, Chinese fans of Chan have heavily mocked and declared him unworthy of the CPC. Besides, in the past, the fans outside China have criticised him for refusing to be pro-democratic.
