Mumbai: Suburban Trains to Accomodate 10% of Private Bank Employees
The Indian Railways on September 19 allowed 10% of the workforce in private and co-operative banks to travel by Mumbai suburban trains. Reportedly, the decision was taken after Maharashtra government's request. However, the staff have to obtain a QR ID code from the state government, or use valid ID Cards to buy tickets until QR code is available. Besides, the number of sub-urban trains will be increased to 500, starting September 21.
