Women Thrash Youtuber for Comments against Women's Rights Activists; FIR Filed

Kerala Police have filed a case against three women on charges of assault, for their attack against YouTube vlogger Vijay P Nair. The women have been identified as Bhagyalakshmi (dubbing artist), Sreelakshmi Arackal and Diya Sana. It is reported that the attack was the result of Nair's derogatory comments against women's rights activists and feminists. Petition Urges To Formulate Policy On Online Classes

The Supreme Court has received a PIL requesting to direct the Centre to formulate guidelines related to online classes. The petition stated that use of online application to conduct classes could expose the children to "obnoxious" materials available on the internet. It stated the children can become victim of cyber crime as well. It also urged the Centre to focus on Economically Weaker Sections' students who cannot afford online classes.

Delhi: Man Impersonating Female Model, Exploiting Women Arrested

Delhi Police on September 21 nabbed a man who allegedly impersonated a female model on Instagram and exploited women on pretext of giving job opportunities. The accused is identified as Mam Chand alias Deepak. According to the police, the accused claimed to be associated with a production house looking for new models for an upcoming new series. Reportedly, further probe is in progress.

Man Cheats Over Rs 1 Lakh from Nursery Owner in Maharashtra's Palghar

Over Rs 1 lakh was allegedly siphoned from a nursery owner's bank account in Maharashtra's Palghar. The police informed, an unidentified accused introduced himself, on phone call, as an army man and posed as a customer of mango saplings. Reportedly, the accused sent a QR code to the victim and asked him to scan it for receiving payment. However, money got deducted from the victim's bank account, said the police.

Mumbai Police Arrest Woman for "Offensive" Social Media Posts Against CM

The Mumbai Cyber police on August 7 arrested a woman for her "offensive" social media posts targeted at Maharashtra CM Uddhav Thackeray and his son and state minister Aaditya Thackeray. The 38-year-old woman allegedly abused and shared a morphed picture of CM on social media. As per the reports, the complaint was filed by advocate Dharmendra Mishra, who works also as a legal consultant of Shiv Sena.
