In a fresh clash between groups, one was killed and four left injured. The violent clash broke out in Cooch Behar, West Bengal, in the morning of June 26. Sumit Kumar SP, Cooch Behar said, "A clash broke out between two groups in Gitaldaha, Cooch Behar. As per info, 5 people have received bullet injuries, of which one Babu Hoque has died." Police controlled the situation and launched an investigation.

Former MLA and Telugu Desam Party (TDP) leader Kothikota Dayakar Reddy, passed away in the early hours of June 13.
