Swine Flu, Malaria & Dengue Cases On RIse In Thane, Officials Issues Alert
Thane is seeing a rapid rise in dengue, malaria, and swine flu cases. According to officials, in just 24 hours, July 26, swine flu patients rose to 20, while 14 dengue patients are active, raising alarming concerns. In addition, of the 20 swine flu cases, two have lost their lives. In regard to this, the Thane Municipal Corporations took necessary precautions and alerted people, to be cautious about water-borne diseases.

Delhi HC Asks AAP Govt To File Status Report For Dengue, Malaria
Amid deepening COVID crisis, the Delhi HC has directed the AAP government and civic bodies to ensure preparedness for malaria and dengue outbreak. The court asked the bodies to file their status reports by May 27. Taking suo-moto cognisance of the mosquito-borne diseases, the court said due to COVID-19 the government and corporation body have neglected the measures to contain mosquito infections and 'You need to pull up your socks.'
