Bharti Airtel Offers Emergency COVID Services On Airtel Thanks App

Telecom giant Bharti Airtel has rolled COVID-19 emergency services under the ‘Explore’ section of Airtel Thanks App. The COVID SOS will help users to find verified contacts and book vaccination slots. The platform powered by Airtel IQ will help users connect to verified sources for hospital beds, medicines, ICU etc. Airtel is also offering COVID-19 helplines for businesses to stay connected to their employees and organize their efforts.

2 Delhi Hospitals Give SOS Calls Over Their Depleting Oxygen Stock

Two Delhi-based hospitals Madhukar Rainbow Children's Hospital in Malviya Nagar and Triton Hospital in Kalkaji have sent desperate SOS calls to authorities over their depleting oxygen stocks. Govt Asks Defence PSUs To Create Emergency Facilities, Oxygen Plants

Japan to extend emergency loan to India

India to Receive 'Emergency Support Loan' from Japan to Fight the Pandemic

On August 31, Japan announced that it will provide an 'emergency support loan' to India to fight against the Covid-19 pandemic. Reportedly, the loan amount, worth almost Rs 3,500 crore, includes the implementation of health and medical policy. The Department of Economic Affairs of Finance Ministry CS Mohapatra and Japanese ambassador Suzuki Satoshi discussed the provisions concerning the Japanese loan to New Delhi.
