Joe Grier, a dedicated Chicago resident, recently marked his 98th birthday while continuing his lifelong commitment to working seven days a week. Grier, believed to be one of the oldest full-time employees in the country, spoke to Fox 32 Chicago about his enduring work ethic.  Grier is employed by Victory, a manufacturing company based in Chicago, where he specialises in creating molds for trophies and awards.

In a bizarre incident, a boss asked his employees not to charge their phones at the office, saying it is ''electricity theft''. The picture of the order was posted by a user on Reddit. The note also stated that employees ''may find a deduction has been made from their pay'' if they charge any device at office. The post has got over 3,000 comments and reactions so far.

According to the officials, as many as 11 employees of the Jammu and Kashmir administration have been sacked on July 10 for their alleged involvement with terrorist organisations. Reportedly, four of the dismissed employees were working in the education department, two worked in the state police, and one each from other departments. Notably, no inquiry is being held as they are dismissed under Article 311 of the Indian Constitution.
