Bengaluru Hospital Admits Insurance Scams Through Fake COVID Reports
In light of abusing the system, few private hospitals in Bengaluru admitted fake Covid patients during the first & second waves by producing false Covid reports. However, It was done to redeem hospital bills through insurance premiums. BBMP chief commissioner Gaurav Gupta said, "We acknowledge such instances with great concern. Nobody should be allowed to get away with this. We will initiate action against such hospitals".

Delhi-Based Doctor Arrested For Black Marketing Of COVID Injection
The Delhi Police Crime Branch unearthed 3,293 vials of fake black fungus injections from Dr. Altamas Hussain's house in southeast Delhi. A gang of ten people, including two doctors were arrested. Several expired drug were found, used for the treatment of black fungus along with 'Remdesivir' injections, said Monika Bhardwaj, DCP, Crime Branch. Reportedly, they sold 400 injections charging up to Rs 12,000 per bottle.

Hathras Police Bust Factory For Adulterating Spices With Donkey Dung
Uttar Pradesh’s Hathras police have busted a bogus spice factory that adulterated the spices with illicit ingredients like donkey dung, inedible colours and acid. The factory at Navipur area was run by Anoop Varshney, Mandal Sah Prabhari of Hindu Yuva Vahini - a right-wing organization founded by UP CM Yogi Adityanath.
