First Death Amid H3N8 Bird Flue Reported In China
China reported the first death due to the H3N8 bird flu, which is a virus found in humans. Monkeypox Virus First Case Detected In Indonesia
Health ministry in Indonesia reported its first monkeypox illness on August 20. Singapore announced its first incidence of monkeypox last month and had verified 15 cases as of August 5. Iran Reports 1st Case Of Omicron Covid-19 Variant

Australia Detects First Case Of New Covid-19 Variant Omicron
Australia detected the first case of the new variant of Covid-19 "Omicron" on November 28. Two passengers who flew from South Africa to Sydney are found infected with the new variant. New Zealand Reports First COVID-19 Case After 6 Months
The health department of New Zealand reported the first case of COVID-19 after six months since February 28 in Auckland on August 17.
