As many as 38 students in Uttar Pradesh who visited a medical camp in Hardoi, fell sick, as they complained of stomach ache and nausea, on September 18. Reportedly, the students had visited a health camp at Pilani Community Health Centre. It is suspected that the attendees were administered a wrong medicine in the hospital. Meanwhile, 32 children have been treated, while six others are shifted to civil hospital. 

In a horrific incident, Delhi resident Neelam Gupta sacrificed a 3-year-old son of her neighbour in order "to make the almighty happy" and cure her infertility. The 25-year-old woman had strangulated the boy and dumped his body on the roof of a building. Reportedly, she committed the crime on the advice of an occultist. As per police statement, Neelam was under pressure of her in-laws for not having child despite being married since 2013.
