Andhra Pradesh Mandates Permit To Transport Liquor
Following the High Court's direction, the Andhra Pradesh government on October 27 barred the transportation of liquor bottles from other states without a permit. NGT Directs UP Govt to Keep Check on Illegal Operations of Brick Kilns
The National Green Tribunal has asked the Uttar Pradesh Government to check for illegal operation of brick-kilns to prevent polluting air in the NCR region. The bench held that brick-kiln industry alone contributes to 5-7% of PM10 emissions. Railway Protection Force Nabs 50 People For Illegal Train Ticket Scam
The Director General of Railway Protection Force (RPF) Anil Kumar informed that at least 50 people were arrested on September 8 for booking train tickets illegally. Reportedly, the accused were using cryptocurrency to avoid leaving a money trail. Anil Kumar added that the group was involved in many such operations across the India, and the RPF has successfully unearthed its network.

Police Seizes Banned Gutka Worth Rs 11 Lakh in Andhra Pradesh
Banned gutka worth Rs 11 lakh was seized on August 16 by the Chandarlapadu police in Andhra Pradesh. Nandigama DSP Ramana Murty said that after receiving the "credible information", Chandarlapadu police were informed who further tracked the vehicle carrying banned gutka. Besides, 4Kg of cannabis and 25 liquor bottles were also seized. According to the official, four accused have been arrested, and vehicles have been seized as well.
