Investigation Underway

A mother from Kentucky was arrested after her toddler died after being sexually assaulted. The victim, the toddler succumbed to her injuries, confirmed local media. Furthermore, the mother identified as Erica Lawson (21,) was charged with second-degree manslaughter and first-degree criminal abuse against a child under 12. The child (17 months old) was raped and beaten, she was brain-dead by the time she reached the hospital.
