BJP Will Bag 300 Seats In UP Elections, Says Sandeep Singh
Ahead of Uttar Pradesh Assembly polls, former UP CM Kalyan Singh's grandson Sandeep Singh has filed nomination on January 19, from 73 Atrauli constituency and claimed that BJP will get a majority of 300 seats. "'Babuji' (former CM Kalyan Singh) isn't here today but I'll serve as he guided," Sandeep said to reporters. Sandeep Singh is also the Minister of State for Education. UP elections are scheduled from February 10.

Rajnath Singh Remembers Former CM Kalyan Singh On His Birth Anniversary
Union Defence Minister Rajnath Singh on January 5, paid tribute to Uttar Pradesh's former chief minister Kalyan Singh on his birth anniversary and called him a "main pillar of Indian Politics." "I bow to former CM of Uttar Pradesh Kalyan Singh Ji on his birth anniversary. My heartfelt tribute to him," Rajnath Singh Tweeted in Hindi. The two-time CM passed away on August 21, 2021, in Lucknow after multi-organ failure.

Aligarh Airport Likely To Be Renamed After Kalyan Singh: CM Yogi
UP government will likely rename the Aligarh airport after the former CM Kalyan Singh as CM Yogi Adityanath on August 22 in Aligarh said, ''We'll hold a meeting with cabinet soon and discuss it.'' CM Yogi also added, ''From the airport to Aligarh, the people of UP have huge respect for Kalyan ji.'' Sadly, Kalyan Singh succumbed to sepsis and multi-organ failure on August 21 in Lucknow.

BJP Former Minister Kalyan Singh Succumbs To Organ Failure
The 89-year-old UP's former CM Kalyan Singh passed away due to sepsis and multiorgan failure on August 21 at a hospital in Lucknow. The UP CM said, his last rite will be performed on August 23 and declared it as a public holiday. Condoling his death, PM Narendra Modi tweeted, ''I am saddened beyond words. Kalyan Singh Ji...statesman, grassroots level leader, and great human.''
