RRR actors Jr. NTR, Ram Charan and Bollywood producer and director Karan Johar have been invited by the Oscars to join the academy. On June 28, the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences recently made its membership invitations. With the addition of this new member class, the Academy is now 34 per cent women, 18 per cent from underrepresented communities and 20% from outside the U.S.

Ayan Mukerji is said to be out of the Dharma Productions tie-up for the sequel of Brahmastra. The first sequel which was under the Dharma banner will now be released by some other banner, buzz Bollywood sources.
