Karnataka: School Snatches Answer Sheets Of Students For Half-Fee Payment
Around 25 class10 students in Karnataka's Mandya were stripped from their answer sheets mid-exam as the authorities alleged that they paid only 50% tuition fees. Moreover, the authorities allegedly had humiliated the students and drove them out of school premises. Karnataka HC Urges CBI To Release Rs 53.46-L To Shivakumar's Partner
While hearing a petition, the Karnataka High Court urged CBI to disburse the seized Rs 53.46 lakh to DK Shivakumar's close associate Sachin Narayan. Earlier accused of corruption, the bench headed by Justice Michael Cunha reiterated Narayan's innocence of having any connection with disproportionate assets that are under investigation. Besides, the amount seized from Wellworth Software Limited was in due course of business, stated Narayan.

Bangalore Infant Pleas HC To Ban Vehicular Traffic In Cubbon Park
In a rare incident, a case has been filed on behalf of a five-month-old baby in the Karnataka High Court to ban vehicular traffic inside Bangalore’s Cubbon Park. The petition from baby, Kiran Medhi Kumar, had cited a study that mentioned there was a notable decline in pollution when vehicles were prohibited in the park. Accepting the petition, the court has directed the state government and other concerned authorities to respond.

Karnataka HC: Schools Can't Be Derecognised Just For "Unfortunate Accident"
Karnataka High Court on October 3 said that the recognition of any educational institution cannot be withdrawn taking into account just an "unfortunate accident". Notice Issued to Environment Ministry, NHAI Over EIA Exemption to Highways
Karnataka High Court on September 26 issued a notice to the Union Environment Ministry and National Highway Authority of India (NHAI).
