DRDO Tests Nirbhay Cruise Missile To Expedite Development of Missiles Along LAC

In a move to 'expedite development of missiles' along the LAC, the Defence Research and Development Organisation (DRDO) test-fired the 'Nirbhay missile', from the Odisha coast on October 12. Mike Pompeo Warns Deployment Of 60,000 Chinese Soldiers At LAC

Following the Quad members' meet, the US secretary of State Mike Pompeo pointed China was deploying 60,000 soldiers on Line of Actual Control (LAC). For discussions during Quad - US, Japan, Australia and India - meet in Tokyo on October 6, he said, the group is developing plans to jointly tackle the Chinese threat in the Indo-Pacific, South China Sea and LAC region. He also blamed the earlier US governments for appeasing China.

India-China Face Off: 2 HAL Light Combat Helicopters Positioned in Ladakh

Amid India-China border tensiond, two Hindustan Aeronautics Limited (HAL) light combat helicopters have been deployed in Ladakh to support Indian Air Force (IAF). HAL chairman R Madhavan said, “it is the lightest attack helicopter in the world designed and developed by HAL to meet the specific and unique requirements of Indian armed forces reflecting the crucial role of HAL in Atma Nirbhar Bharat.”

India, China; Major General- Level Talks Held for Disengagement in Eastern Ladakh

The senior army commanders of India and China held talks to carry forward the disengagement process along the Line of Actual Control (LAC) on August 8, in Daulat Beg Oldi and Depsang of eastern Ladakh. The talks are centred towards the disengagement process in the region. Indian army is expected to maintain a high-level of readiness until the Chinese troops are completely disengaged from all the regions.
