German Airline Lufthansa Cancels All Flights to India up to October 20
German airlines Lufthansa has cancelled all its scheduled flights to India between September 30 to October 20. The decision was taken after Indian government rejected the request of continuation of special flights from Germany to India for the month of October. Bringing students to Campus is risky: IIM Calcutta Teachers
Out of 82 teachers of IIM Calcutta, 61 have written to board of governors to rethink on calling MBA Executive Programme students to campus. Citing COVID-19 cases in IIM Ahmedabad and IIT Kharagpur, faculties feared on students' attendance on campus. Earlier, IIM Calcutta on September 8 planned of calling 62 MBA students to campus and attend classes online. The teachers' group also said they were not consulted on the issue.

Theatre Owners Request Government to Reopen Movie Houses before Dussehra
Theatre owners have requested the government to "reopen cinemas with 50% capacity" by Dussehra weekend. West Bengal Govt Lifts Lockdown for September 12 to Assist NEET Aspirants
West Bengal CM Mamata Banerjee has decided to lift lockdown for September 12 in view of the NEET 2020 examination. Earlier, the state government had announced lockdown on September 11 and 12, but due to the requests from students, lockdown norms have been lifted for September 12. This has been done to ease the aspirants' travel to their examination centers. NEET 2020 is scheduled on September 13.
