Trinamool Congress To Step Foot In National Politics On July 21
Marking the Shahid Diwas (West Bengal's Martyr's Day) on July 21, the Trinamool Congress (TMC) has decided to enter national politics to challenge the NDA in 2024. "There will Be Mamata Govt In Delhi In 2024", said Madan Mitra, a TMC Leader. West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee will be addressing the event virtually. Giant screens will be put in Assam's Silchar, Tripura, Odisha, Bihar, Punjab, UP, and Delhi.

Narada Case: Madan Mitra, Sovon Chatterjee Admitted To Hospital
TMC MLA Madan Mitra and former Kolkata mayor Sovon Chatterjee were rushed to SSKM hospital on May 18 due to breathlessness and both of them are currently on oxygen support. Reportedly, they are among the four political leaders convicted in Narada bribery sting case and are currently in judicial custody. While three of the four convicts were taken to hospital, the third one is State Panchayat Minister Subrata Mukherjee.
