Maharashtra: Attendant Held for Raping Woman at Quarantine Centre in Thane

On September 13, a 27-year-old attendant was held by police for allegedly raping a 20-year-old woman three times at a quarantine centre in Maharashtra's Thane. Reportedly, the crime took place in June when the woman was accompanying her COVID-19 positive relative at the centre. However, the woman said she did not file a complaint earlier as she was scared that the accused would harm her family.

Covid-19: 'The Battle is Still Not Over' Says Maharashtra CM Uddhav Thackeray

CM Thackeray also mentioned in a statement, "the battle is still not over".
