Chef Damodaran Awarded With Lifetime Achievement Award In London
Chef Kothandaraman Damodaran, aka chef Damu, was awarded the Lifetime Achievement Award on November 8. The award which is believed to be the first-of-its-kind was given to the chef, at the Global Food, Hospitality, and Tourism Achievement Award-2021 in London. Chef Damu also holds three Guinness World records for the longest food marathon. ''Thank everyone who are and have been part of my journey,'' said Damu.

India-Origin Justin Narayan Bags MasterChef Australia 13 Trophy
Justin Narayan, a 27-year-old Indian-origin man bags MasterChef Australia 13 trophy, 2021 on July 13. Narayan claimed the trophy with a $250,000 (Rs 1.86 crore) cash prize beating Pete Campbell and Kishwar Chowdhury. Sharing his win on Instagram, Narayan said, ''I Just won MasterChef Season 13. What the actual heck? It's a surreal feeling.'' Notably, the Indian-Origin Sashi Cheliah also won the title in 2018.

Chef Gordon Ramsey Announces New Show Mix Of Food And Adventure
World famous chef Gordon Ramsey has announced a new show that will give an opportunity to 16-21 years old food lovers to showcase their talent. Reportedly, the show will be a mix of travelling and food-making. Ramsey tweeted, "Passion for adventure and food is must." One can apply for participation before October 3 by making a video, wherein S/he needs to talk about her cooking skills and her travel experiences.
