Jharkhand MLAs Taken To Chhattisgarh Amid BJP's Poaching Fear
Jharkhand MLAs of ruling party has been kept in secret places, shifted fearing BJP's poaching. On August 30, The coalition MLAs were taken to Chhattisgarh, in a chartered plane, confirmed sources. Jharkhand CM Hemant Soren, who is ready to face the situation said, "This is not a surprising move. It happens in politics. We are ready to face any situation." Buses full of MLAs were seen doing the shifting.

BJP Leader Rahul Narvekar Elected As Maharashtra Assembly Speaker
BJP leader Rahul Narvekar has been elected as the Maharashtra Assembly speaker. On July 3, Navrekar won the Assembly speaker elections with 164 votes, including votes from non-BJP MLAs. Earlier today, the elections for speaker post kick-started. After the headcount, the BJP candidate beat Shiv Sena candida Yamini Jadhav. and was declared the speaker. With this victory, Rahul Narvekar has now taken the charge of the office.

Rebel Shiv Sena MLAs Will Fly To Goa From Guwahati: Maharashtra Political Crisis
The rebel Shiv Sena MLAs are scheduled to fly to Goa, from Guwahati, Assam, on June 29. In regard to this, 70 rooms have been booked at Taj Convention Hotel, for the MLAs, who will reach Goa by 4:30 pm. The MLAs who are campaigning against the Maha-Vikas Aghadi (MVA) Government will be going to Mumbai on June 30, for the floor test, to prove CM Uddhav Thackeray-government's majority.

SC Hears Petition Challenging Disqualification Notice, Extends Matter Till July: Maharashtra Political Crisis
The Supreme Court extended the deadline given to rebel Shiv Sena MLAs to file their responses by July 11. Notably, on June 27, the Top Court bench was reviewing petitions filed by MLA Eknath Shinde and other MLAs, against the disqualification notice issued to them. After hours of court proceedings, the bench issued notice to the Deputy Speaker Narhari Zirwal, asking to stay disqualification, amid Maharashtra Political crisis.

Shiv Sena rebel MLAs write to Maharashtra Governor Bhagat Singh Koshyari, stating the party minister continues to be the legislative leader of the Shiv Sena. Shiv Sena leader Sanjay Raut confirmed to have communication with rebel leader Eknath Shinde and MLAs, who were inaccessible in Gujarat. On June 22, Raut said, "Our dialogue is on.
