Arvind Kejriwal Skips ED Summon, To Address Rally In MP
In the latest development, Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal skipped the Enforcement Directorate (ED) summon, as he is scheduled to campaign in Madhya Pradesh. Notably, the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) President was supposed to appear before the ED in connection with the 2021–2022 Delhi Excise Policy Scam on November 2. However, Kejriwal will not appear and also asked the ED to withdraw the summons, saying its "illegal and politically motivated."

Akhilesh Yadav's Scathing Attack At Congress Amid Candidate's List In MP
Samajwadi Party (SP) President Akhilesh Yadav criticised Mallikarjun Kharge-led Indian National Congress (INC.) Notably, the criticism came after the Congress didn't give single ticket to the SP leader, amid the alliance for the upcoming assembly elections. Notably, the Akhilesh Yadav-led SP leaders for the Madhya Pradesh assembly elections, scheduled later this year. He warned Congres, facing a similar situation in Uttar Pradesh.

Breaking! BJP Announces 1st List Of Candidates For MP, Chattisgarh Poll
The BJP on August 17, announced the first lists of candidates for Assembly polls in Madhya Pradesh and Chhattisgarh due later this year. This is the first time the BJP has announced the names of candidates even before the Election Commission of India announces the poll dates. The party has announced 21 candidates for the 90-member Chhattisgarh Assembly and 39 for the 230-member Madhya Pradesh House.
