The Telugu Desam Party (TDP) President Nara Chandrababu Naidu who is in jail in alleged corruption case is allegedly facing death threats. Notably, Nara Lokesh, Chandrababu's son took to X formerly known as Twitter and said, his father was shifted to jail with the intent of killing as there are mosquitoes and have threat of deadly Dengue. He urged the President of India Droupadi Murmu to intervene.

Legendary actor Rajinikanth on September 13 called up TDP General Secretary Nara Lokesh to enquire about his father, former Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu. Notably, Chandrababu Naidu was arrested in AP Skill Development scam and is in judicial custody. Rajinikanth called CBN a "great friend and fighter" and asked his son Lokesh to be brave. The call of Rajinikanth was a morale boost for Nara Lokesh and Chandrababu.

In 2014, a few months after coming to power, then CM of AP N Chandrababu Naidu proposed to set up a skill development corporation for development across the state. The aim was to provide skills to unemployed youth. The corporation collects content from various educational courses offered all over the country and abroad and converts them into courses which are offered online to students who register with the corporation.
