The Maratha Reservation movement is gaining momentum as violence and stone-pelting videos go viral on social media platforms. Protestors attacked the house of NCP MLA Prakash Solanke in Maharashtra's Majalgain in Beed district. The crowd also set vehicles on fire, as they were angered over his remarks on the hunger strike by pro-quota activist Manoj Patil. Ajit Pawar's NCP X Handle Suspended For Flouting Rules
The X (formerly Twitter) handle of the breakaway Nationalist Congress Party led by Deputy Chief Minister Ajit Pawar and others has been suspended for over a fortnight, party leaders alleged here. A notification is shown on X that the @ncpspeaks1 account has been suspended for violating its rules, though details are not mentioned.sources in the Ajit Pawar-led NCP claimed that the X account is likely to be restored.

PMLA Court Allows Renal Scan For Nawab Mallick In Judicial Custody
A special PMLA court allowed former Maharashtra minister Nawab Malik, to undergo a renal scan. Notably Malik is under judicial custody in connection with a money laundering case, investigated by ED and CBI. The court had last month also permitted NCP leader Malik to undergo the renal scan, which got cancelled after Malik suffered from fever and other health issues. Special court judge RN Rokade permitted renal scan.

SC To Hear Bail Plea of NCP Leader Nawab Malik
The Supreme Court (SC) agreed to review the bail plea of NCP leader Nawab Malik. Dismissed by the Bombay HC, the Apex Court bench led by CJI NV Ramana, Justice Hima Kohli, and Justice Krishna Murari ask Malik's advocate to submit papers of his case. Notably, Nawab Malik has been remanded with the ED in a money laundering case and alleged connections with the Underworld Don Dawood Ibrahim.

NCP Leader Nawab Malik's Custody To ED Extended: Maharashtra
Special PMLA Court in Mumbai announced to extend the judicial custody of NCP leader and Maharashtra Minister Nawab . Malik in money laundering case, till March 21. Notably, ED is investigating the alleged link of Malik with gangster Ibrahim Dawood and money laundering case. On March 7, he was produced before the PMLA court. Nawab Malik is under ED custody from February 23.

NCP Leader Nawab Malik Moves Bombay HC, Demands Release In ED Case
NCP leader and Maharashtra Cabinet Minister Nawab Malik, on March 1, filed a petition in the Bombay High Court, asking to quash the money laundering case, seeking release from ED custody over his illegal arrest. Notably, the Enforcement Directorate (ED) registered a money laundering case linked with underworld Dawood Ibrahim against Nawab. Furthermore, Malik has been remanded to ED until March 3, by a Bombay court.

If Birth Certificate Is Fake, Wankhede Should Show Original One: Nawab Malik
After NCB Zonal Head Sameer Wankhede released a statement clarifying his family details, Maharashtra Minister Nawab Malik on October 26, said that the birth certificate of Wankhede is not fake. "If it's fake, then he should show us the original one," he added. Last week Malik said that he will not stop until the NCB officer is put behind bars. Moreover, he also raised questions over the cruise drug case.

Nawab Malik's Security Beefed Up After Threat Calls: Drug Case
The Maharashtra government beefed up the security of the Nationalist Congress Party (NCP) leader, Nawab Malik after he complained he was ''getting threatening calls'', sadi Malik on October 14. Malik alleged he received many threat calls after the press conference conducted by him on the NCB's raid on the cruise ship. Reportedly, the NCB arrested Malik's son-in-law in July during a raid in connection with a drug peddling case.
